The game Leela is a transformational game of self-cognition, a unique tool for the diagnostics and correction of your life path, the great journey of a return to your true desires and goals.
Everybody determines the goal of the game and the result they want. The main thing you need to do is to form your request and be ready to accept the answer.

Leela is one of the most unusual spiritual practices because it comes in the form of a board game — with a field, dice, and markers. You don’t plan strategies, defeat opponents, or keep score. The aim isn’t to reach the end first, but to move through a process of inner transformation.
In Sanskrit, Leela means “Game.” It teaches us to meet life with openness and to explore deeper wisdom through each moment. Its philosophy reflects the essence of Vedic knowledge. Ancient yogis mapped 72 fundamental states of consciousness, each represented by a square on the Leela board.
Leela is a tool of self-inquiry — a way to check your path, realign your direction, and understand the laws of the Universe. The game is complete only when the player grasps the workings of karma and touches Cosmic Consciousness.
History
“Leela” originated in India over two thousand years ago. In Sanskrit, it means “game,” though it was created as a tool for self-knowledge rather than entertainment. Legend says Sri Krishna revealed this “game of life” to Arjuna as a guide from the human to the divine.
Though the teachings evolved over time, the essence of Leela was preserved. The version we use today was restored by Harish Johari — a scholar and Vedic master — who rebuilt it through numerology, astrology, Ayurveda, and other sacred sciences.
Krishna’s divine play cannot be fully understood by the mind, and Johari’s Leela is only a reflection of that Infinite Consciousness. It reveals our unconscious patterns and brings insight into the roots of suffering, guiding us toward unity and inner clarity.
In Hindu tradition, Leela describes the cosmic play itself. Vedic Rishis used this esoteric game to transmit wisdom, mapping seventy-two states of human consciousness across its squares — a true chart of the soul.

Once the game begins, it must be completed. Leela asks you to walk your path with devotion, just as life invites you to finish what your soul has started.

Every space on the board is a small universe, reflecting a part of your own. What it means depends on the whisper of your inner world and the question you carry.

The game guides you with precision. If you turn away from your truth, Leela brings you back to the same place, gently insisting that wisdom be embraced, not bypassed.

Recording each move lets you see the snakes that pull you down and the arrows that lift you. In these signs, the map of your soul appears — the true meaning of this ancient game of knowledge.

The game begins only with a sincere inner request. You don’t need to know exactly how to phrase it — your desire can be material or spiritual, clear or vague, related to work, love, growth, or anything your heart seeks. During the game, your intention may shift, deepen, or reveal that what you thought you wanted is not your true need.
Players come to Leela for many reasons: to understand their desires, receive guidance, see what blocks their dreams, or find balance. Some join simply out of curiosity. But once you enter the game by your own choice, you must follow it through to the end.

But the most important gift of Lila for me was the long-lost sense of MYSELF, which I once knew.
The game helped me find a model of my state of mind that I once experienced as a child and had forgotten, but in which I felt a powerful flow of resources. I’m writing this review a week after the game—I really wanted to observe myself and the outside world. I truly enjoy living everything that happens in my revived sense of self.

I would like to share my experience of playing “Lila” with our wonderful Irina.
I chose to play “Lila” because my life situation was complex and ambiguous. Life constantly changed its course, and I found myself in different dead ends, experiencing misunderstandings. Thanks to “Lila,” everything became clearer and brighter. I was able to set goals and move toward them with confidence. The game taught me to be careful and aware of every choice, understanding that each one can change the course of events.
Irina said that “Lila” guided me gently, revealing my positive side and helping me understand the causes of my difficulties. During the game, doubts and fears arose, but thanks to a conversation with Ira, I realized that I should not fall into self-destruction.
